School of Foreign Languages, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, is calling for submissions for International Conference on Applied Linguistics and Language Education<\/strong> to be held in November 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

International Conference on Applied Linguistics and Language Education is an annual conference that is a platform for academicians, researchers, managers, and students to share their research, theoretical perspectives, and practices in the field of applied linguistics and language education. Abstracts and full papers will be subject to double-blind peer review based on originality, novelty, relevance, presentation, and accuracy. The main theme for 2021 is TECHNOLOGIES AND LANGUAGE EDUCATION<\/em><\/strong>.Review and research papers on the following topics are invited.
Topics<\/strong>
1. Blended Learning
2. Remote emergency teaching and learning due to Covid-19
3. Synchronous and asynchronous language teaching and learning
4. Digital L2 assessment
5. Applying multimedia resources in language teaching and learning
6. Social networks as a multilingual context
7. Technology as a mediating tool in language learning
Submission guidelines<\/strong>
Submissions must be written in English. Full papers should normally be from 2,000-6,000 words in length. Full papers must be typed (only MS Word file accepted). Articles must be preceded by an abstract of no more than 200 words. Papers should not have the authors\u2019 identity. Authors\u2019 information should be provided in an attached cover letter (author\u2019s name, affiliation, email address, and brief biodata). Submissions will be scanned by the editorial board for possible plagiarism by using anti-plagiarism detectors. Submissions should conform to the following guidelines:
– In-text citations and references are required.
– Submissions must use Publication Manual for the American Psychological Association (7th<\/sup> edition).
– Submissions must be typed with Times New Roman, size 12pts.
– A review paper can be formatted with three main sections: (1) Introduction, (2) Main Content, and (3) Conclusion. A research article can be formatted with five main sections: (1) Introduction, (2) Literature Review, (3) Research Methods, (4) Results and Discussion, and (5) Conclusion.
* Selected articles will be published in the Conference Proceedings with an ISBN.<\/em>
