In celebration of the International Education Week which highlights the benefits of international education and students\u2019 contributions in strengthening cross-cultural understanding, the Centre for Education, Language and Professional Practice, Humber College would like to invite UEH students to \u201cGlobal Think Tank for our Thriving Planet\u201d roundtable discussions. This exciting initiative\u202fwill bring together\u202fpostsecondary students globally to be engaged in sustainable development efforts, practice English communicative skills and interact with peers from different countries.
The roundtable discussions will take place from November 18 to December 2, 2021. Students will collaborate in virtual teams with peers from Humber partner institutions over three live sessions to address various issues globally affecting us. Our English as a Second Language teacher-trainees will facilitate and lead the conversation in each team. Students are encouraged to participate in all three sessions for the best interest of participants and each team.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
