On the morning of July 13, 2022, at UEH, a Seminar session with the theme: \u201cReflection on Writing And Getting Published in Academia\u201d took place in a hybrid form (both online and face to face in Room B1.205, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City). The seminar plays an important role\u00a0in the series of\u00a0\u201cApplied Seminars in Language Teaching\u201d \u2013 International Conference on Applied Linguistics & Language Education (ICALLE 2022), co-organized by the School of Foreign Languages \u200b\u200band International Languages And Country Studies Institute, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.<\/p>\n

The seminar speaker is a famous education expert from Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand), Assoc. Prof. Jonathan Newton. He has been working for more than thirty years in the field of language teaching and language teacher education in New Zealand and China. He is currently the Programme Director of the MA Programme in TESOL of Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand). The seminar attracts many domestic and international authors, lecturers, teachers, and researchers in language practice to attend to find the right strategies, skills, and approaches to get their articles published in academic journals.<\/p>\n

During only two- hour session, a lot of techniques, tips, personal experience and list of trusted articles are shared honestly by Assoc. Prof. Jonathan Newton.
